Hi-Tech High

We signed up Ethan to do part of his schooling through Hi-Tech High, an online charter school. All the schoolwork is done from home, but we now have resources that come from being with a charter school. The main focus of the school is to help young students become tech savvy and learn the basics of entrepreneurship.

Through Hi-Tech High, Ethan will be able to take courses that he has always wanted to do like Beginning Computers, Web Design, and eventually Game Design. He is really excited about it!
We also have been given a technology allowance that is used to provide technology such as computers, e-readers, printers, scanners, i-Pads, etc. for the student.  Ethan will officially begin his courses through them next week, which for the year includes Technology Basics, & Rosetta Stone Spanish. And through the Build Your Own Course Plan that they offer, we are going to hopefully be able to enroll Ethan in Kung Fu as part of his curriculum.

We are just so excited about this we had to share the great news with everyone!

  1. Glad you found something you're excited about. I hope it goes well for you.

  2. Hi from HHH.

This is very interesting. I might have to look into this as my weakness is Hi-Tech. Our homeschool is very hands-on and real-world oriented. However, as my son, age 8, gets older, I know technology is an important learning tool. Thanks for the review.
